Green Union aims to help fast-track renewable energy projects in developing countries, mobilizing financing and reducing CO2. At the Paris climate conference (COP21) in December 2015, 195 countries adopted the first-ever universal, legally binding global climate deal. In fact, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Georgia have also signed this agreement. The agreement sets out a global action plan to put the world on track to avoid dangerous climate change by limiting global warming to well below 2°C. However, Paris agreement struggles — only 0.04% of global CO2 emissions “ratified”. We want to contribute to implement fully committed, urgent and innovative solutions are required to reach the targets of the Paris agreement.
